Maybe I'm not being skeptical enough, but I think 2012 is still too soon for a dingbat Bush Junior clone in the White House and I trust Obama's political instincts -- contrary to the current rightie meme that McCain was winning in the polls until the economy tanked in October 2008, that's contradicted by the fact that McCain picked Palin in the first place as a desperate 'Hail Mary' pass to revive his sagging campaign. Of course, if you can turn a crowd of about 70,000 into 1 to 2 million, your efforts to accurately read polling data are also suspect.
