Greg, if you had a chance to read my disappeared comment on your other post, you know I was suspicious of something like this happening. Last night MSNBC featured coverage of the Waukesha vote and pointed out that Nickolaus used to work for Prosser and that the actual number of ballots she 'found' was 14,000, with over 10,000 going to Prosser, conveniently just enough to avoid an automatic recount. Nickolaus has also been reprimanded in the past for her slipshod vote counting.

Just to review:

-- Republican activist who once worked for Prosser just happens to 'discover' 14,000 votes on her PC from the largest town in the most Republican county in the state, after it's clear Prosser lost statewide.

-- Republican activist Nickolaus appears before the media to announce the 'accidental' error displaying all of the eyes-downcast veracity of Susan Smith blaming some black guys for abducting her children, the same two little sons she later admitted she drowned.

-- Except for Rachel Maddow and Ed Schultz, MSM does not mention the close connection between Prosser and Nickolaus, even touting the record of clean elections in Wisconsin. Nothing to see here, folks!

-- Now Kloppenburg has to spend her own money to get a recount and file suits to examine Nickolaus' emails, etc.

-- The case could go to the Wisc. Supreme Court which still has Prosser as the 4-3 tie-breaking vote. Will Prosser recuse himself from voting on Kloppenburg's case? When was the last time a Republican judge recused him or herself from from an important political case due to conflict of interest?

Yep, the reek of GOP electoral bull-pucky is strong enough to be noticed in Chicago, but will the Dems pursue the case?
