At the best of times your writing is very “stream of consciousness” and I have difficulty in following your arguments. Today, I admit myself totally defeated. What are you trying to say? What policies or procedures you you urge? Because the Muslim world values revenge; we should never bring to justice those who have wronged the US?

President Wilson once spoke of “being too proud to fight”. It was not his finest hour. Are you really suggesting that President Roosevelt should have turned the other cheek on December 8, 1941?

If there is an “eternal war”; it exists because there are those who blow up themselves and others in pursuit of a political goal. Much as I’d like to reason with such people, I know of no way to do so.
