Just a suggestion,You might find out why the law existed in the first place.

Just Google the Roaring twenties followed by Tea Pot Dome and The great depression,Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Google J. Edgar Hoover and Joseph McCarthy and diagram in a flow chart the patterns which existed then and now.

Then come back here when You no longer sound like a Moron,parroting those tired Talking Points which no one gives a fuck about anymore.

Just ran across your blog Googling the possible use of the Fairness Doctrine to mandate conservative commentators. Laughed my ass off reading your blog of one year ago that the MSM is conservative! Holy shit, could your head be any further up your ass?? The MSM has since proudly admitted how much it’s in the tank for Obama and The Left. I understand that your perspective is completely clouded by the fact that you are surrounded by similarly delusional San Franciscans, but you shouldn’t broadcast your abject ingnorance and close mindedness by blogging, for God’s sake! Here in Knuckledrag,Democrats have always been fair game,
but if any thing untoward was as much as insinuated against any conservative then there would be a line of angry rebuttals in the nightly news broadcast and newspapers.
After Reagan took office the hatred increased
and again when Gingrich took over.

I personally believe it was the work of one
Edward Gaylord ]i[, nationally infamous for publishing the Daily Disapointment and for the
Grand Ole Opry Hotel the worst hotel and theme park in America,and let us not forget that treasure of a television show, HeeHaw.

Eventually the nightly tirades declined except for of course in the editorial/opinion pages
of the Daily Oklahoman.

To Me the logic of the post is flawed,
I cannot imagine Fox News Corp or Usa Today
ever in My life time defending any Liberals unless they are of the DINO persuasion.

The thing that must never be spoken in a public forum is that the views of the right are the views of the Worlds smallest minority group,
but it is the group with 99% of the military,
financial and until recently information authority.

It has been shown that that group will stop at nothing to further its imperialistic agenda
just like the Robber Barons in the days of yore.
The reason for the laws that were dismantled belong to the newscorps triumvirat of the 19th century.
Those laws were passed to protect the public from a handful of Tyrants with delusions of grandeur.
Just like We have today,Hmmmmm.

The Fairness Doctrine will only be a band aid solution. The only real solution is to return to the extremely sensible limitations on media ownership. The founding fathers intended freedom of the press to be exercised by people like Ben Franklin not by corps like Clear Channel.
