Believe it or not, db, I think it's going to be Tim Pawlenty with Herman Cain as his VP. Limppaw knows how to take orders just as well as Romney, and the GOP will try to crack into Obama's solid black vote with Cain. Gingrich is a joke and the GOP Elite, the ones with the big money, are never going to entrust the Keys to the Kingdom to flakes like Palin, Bachmann and Santorum. (And Gary Johnson and Ron Paul are way too Libertarian.) Besides, Pawlenty and Cain are small potatoes, so when they lose to Obama, it'll be no big deal. Unlike Bob Patterson, I think Jeb Bush is going to save his fire until 2016. Jeb will only be 63 and in his political prime by then, and the voters will have had another four years to get the bad taste of -- ahem -- Bush out of their mouths, and he won't be running against a sitting president.

I'll cover that bet. I figure I'll owe you a weeks worth of eats before the election season is over.

1. Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line.
2. Mormons claim to be Christians & until he starts talking about theology; Mitt knows all the notes & sings all the words.
3. Mitt (unlike some) knows how to stay on message & not go on vacation when he should be campaigning.

But if not Mitt, who?
