He’s also pointed out that Islam is a warrior religion, always has been and still is. Christianity did that, too, but not in the last three hundred years or so…until Bush got it in his head that he was leading a “crusade.”

We shouldn’t be fighting this war, but we also shouldn’t let stuff like this get by either. This is precisely what should be pointed out and repeated to the world community, showing how backwards and threatening religious fundamentalism can be. Unfortunately, because America is being run by fundamentalists now, it ain’t gonna happen here, and it’ll be decades before we can get the world community to believe anything we say again.
