Good point, Rainlander. Maybe you’re right: Romney, McCain, Giuliani and Fred will stay in it all the way to the convention just to amp up ad revenues for the media, if nothing else. They are the corporately-vetted GOP candidates, so the Corporate Oligarchy doesn’t really care which one wins.

I agree we need clean elections and it would be nice to have honest people running for office, but that may be asking for too much.

I’m not sure that Huckabee’s Fair Tax proposal was that big a factor; I think it’s his personality, sense of humor, and the fact that he can think on his feet that sets him apart from the rest of the GOP drones. My girlfriend says he ‘seems like a real person’ compared to Giuliani or Romney.

Excellent writing as usual. I very strongly agree that our elections need to become more honest. I’ve said it so often it puts me a little out of breath. I’m reasonably certain you’ve read my piece detailing how to go about getting honest elections, so I won’t burden you.
Don’t be embarrassed if your predictions don’t turn out exactly right. We couldn’t do any better.
I want the best possible people in office, and that is the usual result of clean, honest elections. I believe in the American people and think that if equipped with good info. they will make the right choices.
It’s of interest to me that Huck did so well in the Main Scream Media’s eyes, yet they assiduously avoided mentioning one of the major reasons – the Faritax.
Why? Why is the MSM avoiding the Fairtax like Hillary avoiding private healthcare accounts?
