Well! I guess you two told me, and eloqulently too. You both have great humor, making you easy to read, especially the redneck getting dinner bit… hey! That’s racial smear against red necks! How could you!
I’ve been mentioning His Greatness, The Magnificent Maha Rushi (who’s incense I’m not worthy to light) He Who Is All Knowing, All Understanding, and you two are the very first to come back with something. I was beginning to feel neglected. Congrats, I ought to offer a prize of something I suppose…
There are myrid examples of the Main Screams giving the Dems a pass (who makes them do that?). The latest example is Hillary saying O hadn’t “done enough spade work.” referring to his lack of experience.
Had an innocent, fun loving republican done the exact same thing, we’d still be hearing about it. Jessie and Al Sharpton would be bellowing for repeated apologies and then indignantly not accepting them. Like Lott the guilty would be run out of D.C. on a rail. But Hill did it and no comment. Utter silence. That’s Main Scream Media bias, folks.
Concerning college grads who want to do Journalism being left leaning, I agree that’s very likely.
I’m waiting for the day when O announces he’s the veep for Hill. Remember when Hill formally announced she was a candidate for pres and no one was surprised? Same deal.

Thanks Danger Bear I couldn’t have said it better myself.
A couple of additions. When Clinton ran in ’92 the whore media got behind Poppy Bush and Perot hoping that between the two Clinton wouldn’t win. Even that useless junkie pervert Limbaugh joined that bandwagon. Once Clinton won, the whore media attacked him like a redneck chasing Sunday dinner through the woods.

Let’s be very clear about the media and its political leanings. Many of the reporters etc. on the ground may have Democratic leanings but the people that own and run the media are the conservative GOP loving nutjobs that institute the conservative media attacks on the Democrats. Sad but when your boss says do it, even a reporter must do what they are told or lose their jobs. Many a fine journalist has had to swallow their beliefs so that their family can swallow food.

Maybe Clinton and Obama saw a problem and both decided to solve it in a civil manner that was good for America. Despite recent conservative ideology, there are more solutions to conflict resolution than just “bomb them back to the stone age” and “cheese-eating surrender monkeys”.

The media didn’t elect Bill, they hunted him with a passion. More people know about Whitewater than the Downing Street Memo. It doesn’t matter what your political leanings are, when you are at work you do what your boss tells you. If we’re throwing out statistics I’d say that 80% of college grads and post grads tend to lean Democratic so a technical and creative profession like broadcasting would have a lot of Dems.

As for his assHoliness Rush, (who’s drugs I’m not worthy to score in a Denny’s parking lot) they probably don’t let him near the newsrooms for the same reasons they don’t let him near their sports shows.

I think it’s likely the Main Scream Media is motivated by ratings (read money), not their love of WASP males.
Did you notice how Hill stole O’s “change” slogan, dropping her “experience” slogan like a hot potato and O never said a word? Now they are kissing and making up and promising to talk about issues (gasp!). How soon until O gives up and concedes to Hill in return for a vice-president spot?
If the Main Scream Media likes white male repubs so much, why did they elect Bill?
And how come they dislike His Most Incredible Holiness (who’s golf clubs I’m not worthy to carry) Rush Limbaugh, who is so white, male and republican in their eyes, they should be building statues of him in their news rooms.
No, I think the Main Scream Media is motivated by ratings.
Incidentally His Wonderfulness says about 80% of the Main Screams are registered democrats. And as you know, he’s never wrong (except about Hillary).
