Joanne, maybe they'll change the MSNBC beast from within. Olbermann is still on the air because he gets the highest ratings and times have changed from the days when Phil Donahue was cut for featuring too many anti-Iraq invasion guests. Progressive programming is up in the ratings these days -- O'Reilly has LOST 2 million viewers since 2005, while Olbermann has added nearly a million -- and MSNBC is jumping on the trend for the same reason Rupert Murdoch keeps "The Simpsons" on Fox -- ad revenue from a hit.

That said, Somerby does a great job.

Grim, according the my dictionary, a Quisling is a traitor who cooperates with an occupying enemy, named after Vidkun Quisling, the installed prime minister of Norway (I think) who cooperated with the Nazis in WWII.

It would be nice if the 'libruls' would go read Bob Somerby for a few weeks before they sign contracts with MSNBC or any other network. The last thing we need is a bunch of Quislings on the air.
