I'm willing to give RS the benefit of the doubt. I've enjoyed his writings here for a while now.

There's a nasty decades-old ideological split showing in the Democratic party right now. A simple way to put is: the "creative" class resents the "bitter" class for spending too much time on the messy details of actually getting things done and other non-inspiring trivialities.

Danger Bear it is so good to see that someone else actually sees and understands what is going on. I have been visiting repug sites and forums this week and beginning to wonder if there was any future for the human(?) race. LOL

RS wrote: "The man didn’t show up to see her, he was recruited by her campaign as an ‘average working class Indiana’ to take her to the gas station for that photo-op."

The Obamanazies, much like the repugs and "librul" media are experts at making mountains out of molehills, even where no molehills exist.

Since the man was not shanghaied or forced at gunpoint I can only presume that he was not only in the area but that he was a willing participant. I think it was very generous of Hillary to fake being helpless (Hillary helpless??? Give me a break!) at the gas pump to give a working man his moment in the spotlight. Most women have FAKED SOMETHING in their lifetime to give a man's ego a boost and let him feel good or superior. It is common knowledge that men love showing off their 'masculine skills'. Haven't you ever FAKED SOMETHING to give another person pleasure? I have! ;o)

RS wrote: "I can only think"

I never would have guessed! BTW, as a mind reader you scored 0 points.

RS wrote:"You need a couple of shots of Crown Royal and a beer."

Is that your solution to all your problems?

RS wrote: "check the calendar and the candidate — it’s 2008 and Bill Clinton isn’t running for president."

In case you didn't notice, Bill and Hillary are a team, both have always supported each other through many a trial and survived successfully, to the benefit and enrichment of the American Public whom they served. AND without voting 'PRESENT' on controversial issues.
Why did Barack Obama vote 'present' 130 times avoiding decisions on politically sensitive issues?

RS wrote: "First of all, his faher was born a Muslim, as if that makes a difference, but his father rejected religion before Obama was born".

If there is nothing to hide... then why hide it?
Jeremiah Wright is a pioneer of “Black Liberation Theology”, he’s a former member of the Nation of Islam, and he’s the one who very controversially introduced many of the themes of Black Nationalist Muslims into the black Christian church.

RS wrote: "he was raised by a single mother for most of his childhood."

BHO keeps repeating that lie but it is only true if you don't count the first two years with both mother and father as "a legal marriage", or the years his mom was married to his stepfather as a legal marriage until at age 10 when he went to live with his white grandparents until he was 18. That leaves almost 3-4 years of SINGLE MOM time as opposed to 8 years with his white grandparents doesn't it. You call that MOST?

Obama: "I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. (Yet Obama not only threw his dear friend and mentor of 20 years
under the bus but backed over him several times!) I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe."

Is that why he never visits her?

Obama sanitized his statement: "The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity," he said. "But she is a 'typical white person'. If she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know. . .there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."

Obama threw his still-living 80-year old grandmother under the bus for his campaign...How's that for narcissism?
Not just any grandmother--a grandmother who worked to provide for him and get him the best education possible after his father abandoned him and his mother decided that studying peasant blacksmithing in Indonesia trumped the obligations of motherhood.

If we called Obama "a typical black person" how long do you think it would take for all hell to break lose?

Now that racist statements of his wife Michelle are being exposed, will he throw her under the bus too in his lust for the power of the presidency?

Maybe Obama could explain to us all just what is a:
Typical white person
typical black person
typical woman
typical man
typical Arab
typical Jew
typical Christian
everyone of these are crass generalizations and ALL are offensive to their prospective target.

RS, I'm guessing people think you are attacking Clinton when you casually use phrases like these:

"she descended into this Rovian nightmare of innuendo, sleaze and negative campaigning."
"she’s seen this ‘obsessive, manic, anything for a vote’ side of her."
"Democratic woman as president, not a fake Republican man"
"the Hillary hilarity"
"it enhanced her aura of privileged elitism."
"Hillary’s gaffes were particularly obvious and onerous"
"The condescension to every Washington Elite misconception and myth of America’s Working Class was on parade in Hillary’s final primary battles, and her desperate patronizing on everything"
"Why Hillary ran a dumbed-down campaign like the loathed Dubya in Democratic primaries is a question for the ages, but it’s obvious proof of her campaign’s ingrained, out-of-touch elitism."
"where she could rock him on his heels by serving up mountains of specious innuendo and guilt-by-association slap-downs"
"Hillary’s strategy, it appears, was to slash and burn Obama"
"never invite a mixer into your home."

The accusations of sucking up probably come from this opinion:
"actually worked to make the ‘elitist’ Barack Obama appear principled and sincere. Except for his bowling bungle in Pennsylvania, he’s pretty much been the same candidate he was earlier in the race: articulate, educated and thoughtful."

Obama's campaign has been really negative. They encourage you to write like that.

Kerry wrote: "OMG! OMG! OMG! The sky is falling, the sky is falling, Hillary did a photo-op WITH A MAN WHO OBVIOUSLY SHOWED UP TO SEE HER! HOW TERRIBLE! IT IS OBVIOUS HER BODY GUARDS FORCED THE MAN TO POSE WITH HER AGAINST HIS WILL!"

The man didn't show up to see her, he was recruited by her campaign as an 'average working class Indiana' to take her to the gas station for that photo-op. The point is the photo-op was a blunder and didn't necessarily appeal to the people it was supposed to convince. As I said, no matter who the candidate is -- Obama shouldn't have gone anywhere near that bowling alley -- I don't know why candidate's do photo-ops that can only make them look stupid.

Kerry wrote: "Anyone see the PHOTO-OP poor little picked on Obama did with his black granny in front of her tiny hut which by the way he regularly USES in his campaign? (while he lives in a mansion!) Ever wonder why he continues to lie about being “raised by a single mom”? His father and his stepfather were both Muslims. Only this week did he briefly include his other grandparents in his rearing. You remember them, the “Typical white woman racist” grandmother who lives in a small apartment and never gets a visit from grandson she raised for 8 years."

First of all, his faher was born a Muslim, as if that makes a difference, but his father rejected religion before Obama was born. Obama's mother and father divorced when he was 2 years old so, yes, he was raised by a single mother for most of his childhood. He never called his white grandmother a 'typical white racist' -- just the reverse. As far as the rest, I can only think you got that from David Horowitz's neocon Front Page Mag, which unfortunately seems to be one of your major sources for information on Obama.

Kerry wrote: "Pathetic how far Hillary haters will go to find some ridiculous excuse to justify their insane, hate filled accusations while sucking up the garbage spouted by their cotton candy candidate."

You seriously think my post was hate-filled and that I suck up to Obama? You need a couple of shots of Crown Royal and a beer.

Kerry wrote: "Just what did you hate about the Clinton administration, the peace or the prosperity?"

Kerry, I'll point out more here in a future post, but the man in Hillary's gas stop photo-op wasn't her DRIVER, he was an average working class Indianan recruited by her campign for this photo-op, which was to show her pumping gas. When it became apparent she couldn't do it, the guy took over. She admitted she's hasn't pumped her own gas in years -- the Secret Service did that.

Zenferret, I think you need to reread my piece more carefully -- I said someone else, a member of the working class that Clinton was trying to impress, said that. I wrote: "In these days of color and dress consultants for campaigns, that’s not outside of the realm of possibility."

I didn't make up anything -- I saw the video clip of her sipping Crown Royal, and it hardly matters how popular it is -- the fact is, the shot and a beer guys don't drink it, and the ones I talked with thought her drinking it was funny. Not the impression I think her campaign wanted to leave with that group.

I didn’t make up anything — I saw the video clip of her sipping Crown Royal, and it hardly matters how popular it is — the fact is, the shot and a beer guys don’t drink it, and the ones I talked with thought her drinking it was funny. Not the impression I think her campaign wanted to leave with that group.

zen dear, it is pointless to try to talk sense to someone who thinks it is a mortal sin to let one's DRIVER do what he is paid to do, dive the vehicle and fill up the gas and water.

Just what did these folks Not like about the Clinton era.. the peace or the prosperity?

If you want to find reasons to think Clinton isn't a homey its easy to find them. Especially if you are willing to make stuff up.

Greaser colors? Get real... Dressing for the 80 year old former greasers? Pink and black are also some of the hottest hip hop colors so was she dressing for

And she sipped first then downed the Crown Royal. Crown Royal is the best selling Canadian Whisky in the US - not that elite...
