This was a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooog time ago. The head of the ticket refused to let the local religious right dictate how they treated people or what issues he focused on. After the campaign a whole mess of kid porn was found in his trunk. Gee, wonder how that got there?

The reality though is that’s why I do my political thing only on the net, where no one knows my location. Last time I took part in person at the grass roots level, in a repug stronghold, they poisoned my dog, the vet I took her to let her die. He was related to the bastards as were the law enforcement officers who did nothing. Then my truck was arsoned and my life and home threatened. I moved away and they found where I moved to and poisoned my new puppy. I moved to where I am now with no forwarding and I will never actively take part in politics in person again. Do I know how dangerous and deadly the good, bible thumping fundi repugs are. YOU BET I DO!

People here still think Dubya gets his orders from god and are still blaming Clinton getting a BJ for the Bush oil war, inflation and gas prices etc. How does one deal with such willful ignorance? Walk away! Then fight like hell on the net.
