I know the seies is now over(missed the final episode dammit),but I found the show absolutely riveting and addicting. Some carp abot the blue language but I hear the same kinda stuff outa the mouths of the 8year olds going home from school.

Granted, powwows with David Duke don’t get you much cred in the reality based world, but ponder for a moment: an imperialist, aggressive country which has been your nemesis for decades is currently engaged in TWO wars of choice in big countries bordering Iran. Ahmadinejad KNOWS his country is in the crosshairs of the PNAC neo-cons and has been for many years.

How would Americans have felt if during the Cold War, for example, the Soviets had launched pre-emptive wars of choice in both Mexico and Canada? Just wondering.

Sex between inmates (…in Philadelphia prisons) is illegal, but that hasn’t stopped the city of Philadelphia from giving out free condoms. The cost is minimal and some argue that ensuring safe sex, even for inmates, will eventually save in medical expenses and possibly lives.

Leon King, the commissioner of prisons in Philadelphia says:

“I don’t even know how much they cost, but I’m sure it’s pennies compared to HIV treatment,”

A spokesperson for Governor Edward G. Rendell said is seemed like an empty controversy since it is accepted policy in Philadelphia to keep Republicans, Roman Catholic priests and juveniles incarcerated in separate facilities.
