Grimmy, thanks for the holiday wishes — right back to you, BTW — and the kind compliments.

Have you checked out the Libertarians? While I only agree with them about half the time, I do receive their emails, and from reading your posts, you might feel comfortable with most of their thinking and they are, unlike the GOP these days, sincere and ethical in their beliefs.

That is Oil, thanks, those are good topics for a future sequel to ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.’ (And we know how much everyone loves sequels.) I sort of covered Bush in the first entry, but I thought anything more would be too obvious.

The Good: Bush is on his way out.
The Bad: He’s still there, like an embarrassing wet stain in the crotch of America’s pants.
The Ugly: He might find a ‘crisis’ that needs his attention and prevents him from leaving.

I think the bad should also include the rapid growth of scientology as it is glorified by an increasing number of halfwit celebrities. The Good should include the demise of George Bush The Ugly should include the child named Adolf Hitler, that poor kid will probably commit suicide due to bullying before he finishes highschool. I just wanted to reply that you are right on about us neocons having left the repub party. When GW tried to put Harriet Meyers on the Supreme Court it was as though we had been slapped across the face. Suddenly a great many of us were awake. …What?!? ….What’s going on? He’s doing what? God damn it! Then the sending of e-mails to the White House whining for years about other stuff he’s doing, all to no avail. In spite of GW, we desperately need to get control of that southern border and govt spending. Did you know GW has increased the size of the fed govt by 40%?
You are an excellent and profuse writer. I request you take on an issue or two as well as beating the shit out of country club republicans.
There are so many issues out there that need attention – how about 10% of your editorials devoted to, say, the mortgage problem, or the impending inflation we will see as the economy recovers, if the fed does nothing (it won’t).

I have tried to form the beginnings of a Conservative Party, but people aren’t ready yet (sigh!).
