Grim, as you say, I posted the link in today’s Tattlesnake to an audio where Rush, whose anal cysts I’d be glad to remove with a flamethrower, clearly says “I hope he fails.”

You are not alone; some other Rush fans have also been desperately trying to defend the Radio Man Gland for his unpatriotic remarks. Like you, they claim that’s not what he meant to say but, if a liberal had said this about Bush or Reagan, you’d be all over it like white on Rice. In the current crisis, if Obama fails, America goes down the drain. Apparently Rush wouldn’t mind that if he gets to keep his millions. The thing is, if we go down the tubes, his money will be worthless. The One Who Needs a New Brain seems not to have thought of that.

Limbaugh did not say “I hope he fails.” You are taking him out of contaxt because of your hatred of His Wonderfulness, He Who Is Always Right.
You shouldn’t be hating anyone (hate = long term anger). Hatred will reshape your personality. Not good.
