As you&#039;ve said, in 2010 and 2012, we have to get real progressives to challenge the Blue Dogs Dems -- solid candidates who know how to run a campaign. Unfortunately, as well as being underfunded, some of the progressives are rank amateurs who don&#039;t want to do the &#039;scut work&#039; of campaigning, and have no idea how to get free media attention to make up for the paid media they can&#039;t afford.

In Montana, for instance, I think a good progressive has a real chance at unseating Baucus, but voters have to know who he or she is first. That&#039;s the problem.]]></description>
