BTW, did anyone else notice that Dad Heene looked an awful lot like Susan Smith when he talked to the media? His eyes were either downcast or rolling around while he was shoveling his story to the public, just as Smith’s were when she was blaming some black guys for kidnapping her kids that she drowned.

Telling Moment: Dad, when notified his little son was in danger in a runaway balloon, first called the local TV station before calling 911. Maybe he’ll get his own reality TV show out of the publicity — “Stay tuned for ‘The Balloon Boy’s Crazy Family,’ right after ‘The Biggest Loser’.”
