It’s possible Obama was giving the GOP and his own Blue Dogs a chance to come around, and he’s bent over backward to get their support. Now, it’s obvious they will never support him, so he’s on the offensive, but no one can say he didn’t try to be bipartisan, except Fox News and the crazy righties.

Here’s what might be a scoop, if my informant is correct: Rahm Emanuel is going to be quitting his WH job to run for Mayor of Chicago (Little Richie Daley is very unpopular at the moment); plus Obama will be firing Geithner, Summers and most of the Bush holdovers in various government agencies soon.

Another thing. mentioned on Olbermann the other day, is that the House will insist the Senate pass ‘corrections’ on the Senate health care bill by reconciliation BEFORE passing the first bill. Should be interesting, since I don’t think it’s ever been attempted in the past.

Let’s see if all of this happens.
