It’s Almost Time for a Democratic Unity Ticket
Today is Super Tuesday and though the first ballot of the day has not been cast, going by the notoriously unreliable polls, it appears that it’s going to be a very close result across the board for both Hillary and Obama. If the Democrats are split 50-50 then the logical solution is an Obama-Hillary or Hillary–Obama ticket.
I am sick of Obama worship, and now the new line from his supporters is that the Clintons have too much baggage and Obama doesn’t, he is clean. Oh really? Just wait until he is the nominee and the Republicans start backing up their garbage trucks of dirt into his campaign. When the Republicans are done with him you may wish to vote for Jeffrey Dahmer instead. (more…)
Iranian Oil Bourse to Open…For Real This Time
Iran is finally going to open its oil bourse, a market for trading its oil in Euros. The bourse was originally scheduled to open in May of 2006. Here is my analysis from that time…everything I said then still applies.
The Empire is Crumbling – from breadwithcircus.com

On the internet and in the media, talk of Iran’s plans to open a new oil market had existed only in whispers. (more…)
First state on Super Tuesday
Obama won Georgia and CNN had a 60-minute orgasm.
I’ve never seen them so happy.
Now I know what V-E Day was like.
Then Obama won Illinois, another creamfest.
Now I know what V_J Day was like.
Then Hillary took Oklahoma, and they yawned.
Book Review: “My Life as a Spy” Valerie Plame
If you are looking for a true spy story, this book is not for you.
Thanks to the very heavy handed redacting by CIA censors, also a subject of the book, many interesting stories are maybe told, but you will not be able to read them. The complete picture of the years Mrs. Wilson spent at the CIA are finally put together in a very concise well written afterword by Laura Rozen with a lot of help, quotes if you will, from James Risen’s book, “State of War.” An excellent book by the way, and an excellent resource for the real inside dope that was going on in our intelligence community as we geared up to the Iraq War.
This book is more a personal story about one person and then one family. (more…)

The Tattlesnake – Martha’s Super Tuesday Recipes Edition
Enjoy watching your favorite candidate go down in flames with these quick and tasty dishes!
Mike Huckabee’s Great American Grilled Cheese Sandwich: Take two hot cross buns and cover with margarine on both sides. Stack in frying pan with several slices of processed American cheese between the rolls and heat until buns are toasted, then reduce heat to 15 percent, pour in a half-gallon of sweetened milk, and continue cooking until limp and soggy. Find Jesus’ image in the toasted buns and wrap in the Constitution to serve. Goes well with a simple nutty-buddy dipping sauce, a frosty glass of Slim Fast, and okra-flavored Fiddlesticks.
