The fact that Obama is silent about this indicates they may have already struck a deal with him running as Veep.
The Clintons certainly are not above this: “Okay Obama, you pretend to run against me, then we’ll end up on one ticket. Me as pres, you as vice. Either that, O, or you get wacked! So, waddayou say?”
