I’ve never met one yet that could fathom the second law of thermodynamics let alone E=mc2 or
Entropy.
If I could’nt understand that the universe was growing colder and expanding at extra-stellar velocity then I guess
the explanation given by genesis would be palatable to me too.

You can’t expect homo’s to understand E=mc2! They’re too busy competing on Runway.
What is extra-stellar velocity?
Rain,
Seriously, the explaination in Genesis is in English.
An in-depth look at the original language it was written in, Hebrew, will indicate it does not translate, and only transliterates badly, especially if one doesn’t understand the concepts involved, which the translators didn’t.
I’ve written on this but can’t put it here for two reasons:
I don’t think anyone is interested, and, more importantly, Bart would stone me.
Gringold
Thanks for the reply grim,
I was’nt expecting a reply just making a casual
observation.
“What is extra-stellar velocity?”
A:A misnomer from the sixties,
Actually it was thought that a point of origin
would manifest that would allow for our location in space, well it has’nt.
The extra referred to time assuming a known point of origin
and since most everything is travelling along at the same pace we can’t get a fix that way either.
The Hubble deep field has allowed us to see galaxies when they were young, around
eleven billion years ago and the europeans
have a nice one that should let us see pre-galaxies,My hunch is they’ll look like nebula’s.
Who knows Grim,
if they make one powerful enough they might see the hand of the almighty squishing all that clay into a singularity if only for our own amusement.
I like to think there is a sense of humor there
and He(She) would think that concept a rib-tickler.
Cheers,Rain.
