Battle for the Demo Soul – by Brent Budowsky

The old establishment is composed of the Democratic pollsters and consultants
who told Democrats to support the Iraq war and, only days ago, to let Republicans
gut the American Constitution.
I don’t agree.
The pollsters showed the top tier what would happen to their careers
if the GOP could succeed in labeling them as “Al Qaeda enablers.”

All things considered (not that I’d have the brains to do that) the fastest
way to stop the monsters is to let them destroy themselves in the next 15 months.

Sure, they could “do the right thing” and challenge Bush now, but then
the whore press would paint Bush as the victim and suddenly 2008 isn’t
looking so good for us.

That’s the same reason Bush isn’t getting impeached – because that
effort might convert his Nazi ass into a sympathic and popular hero
 - who wants that?

If you have a better idea, as John said, “We’d all love to see the plan,”
but saying, “I wish the facts were different” helps nobody.

  1. The better idea you ask for is simple.
Here’s how the Dems can win: Come up with better ideas that will benefit America than the Repubs are fostering.
For example, inflation causes people to become poor. But no one on the Republican side will take on the Fed and demand a non-inflating dollar.
For example, eliminate the IRS by initiating the FairTax. The Democratic party could than brag they eliminated the true Nazis, the federal tax collectors.
For example, push hard for congressional term limits, this to cut the incentive for pork spending.
For example, cut govt involvement (army corp of engineers)in the building of dikes, bridges and other projects, instead putting this work out for competitive bid.
For example, get the fed govt completely out of welfare, as their track record is so dismal.
For example, drill for oil in ANWAR responsibly, under the watchful eye of, say, the Sierra Club.
    I have more. Interested?
