“Rich Iott – second from right- likes to dress up in Nazi regalia.”- Posted on BC
Who says he’s just playing “dress up?”
And what’s with the Scottish garb? Is he a member of the infamous please Luft-up-my-kilt-waffe?
(Instead of iron crosses they have iron “members.”)
Actually, that’s Mike Bellow wearing a British WWII uniform. Mike’s a pretty decent guy who usually plays one of the good guys. I understand that someone has to play the bad guys and they were great soldiers, blah, blah, blah, but the SS reenactors give me the creeps. Some of them even dress their kids in Hitler Youth uniforms. Draw your own conclusions.

What I heard on the news is Iott wanted to be Waffen SS, supposedly to teach his son something-or-other about history. Iott claimed when his son ended his interest in Hitler’s elite Nazi soldiers, so did he.

Twere just a joke(s). Is “Iron Member” the next Austin Powers villain?

I know… I got it. Those guys are still creepy.

I was going to add this to my post: What if Iott’s son had been interested in cannabalism? Would that require live ‘re-enactment’ as well? “It’s okay, boy — they’re only beef ribs, ha, ha!”
BTW, Iott’s uniform is that of a 5th Waffen SS Panzer Division soldier; the 5th was posted to the Russian Front from what’s been reported, so where would the re-enactors, if they were going after historical accuracy, encounter a British soldier?
