Bush’s lynch law

Liqa Omar Muhammad is waiting to die. The 26 year old Iraqi mother shares her Baghdad prison cell with her child, who was born in captivity.

On 2 March she discovered that her execution by hanging was postponed following an international outcry. Her fate is unknown.

Her crime? Her husband and brother were accused of organising an attack on a US-Iraqi patrol in 2005.

This is George Bush’s Iraq.

Any Iraqi accused of being part of the resistance will be executed, along with their wives and sisters.

  2. A more apt title may have been:

    “Bush’s Masturbatory Materiel Procurement Law”

It looks like the shady little frat boy squatting in the people’s White House has gradumacated from wanking to still photos of butt pyramids and torture of Eyeraki men to snuff videos of women related to dead guys that might have been bad guys.

The Nazis believed in collective punishment. The US did it in Falluja, and probably other places in Iraq. Still think “leaving now is wishful thinking”?

Iraq will idsintigrate, and the presence of US troops is delaying the inevidable. Its bad, but even the Iraqis say that they have to figure it out themselves.
