This is intended to be a series of articles.
There are so many issues to address with our current administration, it would be impossible to fit them in one post or many posts. So I decided to title a series of articles of importance to us all in an election year. There is a myriad of issues to be examined and crimes committed against our Constitution and its citizens by this administration, they just run into each other and they are impossible to separate.
This actually may be the first administration that committed so many crimes intentionally so that it would be impossible for average citizens, but also people that actually track these things to keep up with them. It seems there is a crime a day or sometimes three a day. How can anybody possibly keep up? It’s not possible. I have thought of several issues I would like to address in this series but I am sure the list will grow exponentially as we go along. So I will not list a series of issues. I hope you will follow the series and comment. Comments, positive and negative are appreciated; you can send a comment to: nobegood@gmail.com
So to start the series I would like to briefly comment on the Attorney General nomination to be decided tomorrow. As Bill Maher said the other day, “can’t Democrats even grow one ball?” I have to agree. I have been asking the same question for a very long time. Why does (questionably) our party keep shooting itself in the foot? The answer is very simple. Party leadership. We are saddled with two leaders that will not enforce party discipline. OK, they will enforce it on the question of impeachment, that is not allowed, but everything else, NO, do what you want.
Nancy (hot grandma) Pelosi, and Harry (boring) Reed need to be ousted, removed from their posts. As a party the Democrats in Congress are polling lower than Bush. I took a poll the other day and I think I rated them lower than Bush. Why? Its not that I do not agree with their announced agenda, its that they do not carry through with it. I am sick and tired of hearing their majority is not large enough. Enough of the excuses. How is it possible that with a minority the Republicans still control the agenda and win the votes? Does their argument hold up to the light of day? No it does not.
The answer is party leadership and discipline. Do not bring votes to the floor that you will lose and once it is on the floor make sure your party votes along party lines as the Republicans do. Any Democrat, Lieberman (Judas), Feinstein (daughter of Franken), that does not tow the party line should be disciplined, i.e. lose privileged committee seats.
What do the Democrats have to lose by applying strong arm tactics on their party? Nothing. If they did, their majority would be much larger in the next election. By not applying party discipline they are playing into Republican hands. They are ineffective, useless and have no guts. Would you trust Nancy and Harry to defend you from the scary terrirists? I did not think so, and that is truly scary.
Tomorrow, we will lose another critical vote and our Constitution will be further eroded and we will be closer to Pakistan in the way we are governed than we are to America in the year 2000. Its OK, don’t worry, Nancy and Harry have our back.
Next issue: Why we should never support any bill with the name Lieberman as co-sponsor. Are you listening Hillary?
