I am Pissed, at the Media, Obama, and Hillary

What the hell is going on? We now have a racial problem among the top two Democratic candidates? What is this bullshit? Who created this mess and promoted it? Of course the main stream media. I guess they were bored with the campaign, not enough excitement. And that is sad and shameful, and just another example of why you cannot trust anything these bastards tell you. The only way Bill and Hillary could be more attuned to the concerns of African Americans would be to have been born in Africa themselves with a lot more melatonin in their systems. Go ahead, parse that sentence and inject something I did not mean into it. That is what the MSN has done to the comments of the past couple of days. They have snipped whole statements and made them to mean something that they did not in their original context. So are these people evil bastards? I’m I pissed at them? You bet.

But why am I pissed at Obama? Well rather than defusing the situation he took the ball and ran with it. If somebody is trying to make hay out of this situation, it’s Obama. Shame on you. You saw the entire quotes and knew their meaning full well, yet you pretended that you did not know and were offended. Bullshit. Get off your high horse and be straight with the people.

Yes, the comments by the founder of BET were in bad taste and offensive, but like it or not, they were tough but fair. What? We can talk about El Generalismo’s high times but Obama is off limits? Its ugly, it’s tough, but this is politics. You do not get the most powerful position in the world by crying, ” oh woe is me.” Is this what you plan to do in office? Cry like a baby when the Repugnigcanst gang up on you? That they don’t play fair, that they are lying thieving crooks and demonize you? If that is the case, do us a favor and quit now.

Hillary, What the F is wrong with you? Do you understand that we all lose with this issue being manipulated by everybody and inflaming hatred across all sectors of the electorate. Do you think this helps you? Does it help anybody? I am not blaming you for starting it, but the way you have handled it so far is idiotic. Apologize to Obama, if he felt offended and promise to try to be more sensitive.

The same counsel goes to Obama. Declare that you know the Clintons are not racists and this is a misunderstanding or made up issue by the MSN.

I guarantee you, the first one to do either will look like the more understanding person and will come out of this mess in a higher standing.

I am still for Edwards, you two are embarrassing me.

  1. No Democrat should have to apologize for this Drudge-spawned fairy tale.

Am I the only one who thinks Bush’s cheerleaders would rather run against Edwards? Abut 6 months ago Hannity dropped his storyline about the angry trial lawyer who couldn’t even beat John Kerry and started concentrating his BS on ignorant Hillary hate, all while leaving hints about black churches before going to break.

The creators of the most awesome goddamn propaganda force in the whole godless world aren’t going home to spend more time with their families.

  2. Bear, the repubs want to run against Hill. Take my word for it.
Gerry, something else the Main Scream Media does is to cherry-pick polls so the races seem close – a good contest. This gets ratings.
Isn’t it interesting that this time around there are no Ross Perots or GW’s claiming they aren’t paying attention to polls? Just a thought.
I liked your Richardson. Too bad he couldn’t get traction.

  3. I’m talking about Republican leaders being afraid of Hillary’s political prowess. The base has consistantly underestimated the Clintons.

There is no way this just about ratings. The profits from news divisions are a drop in the bucket for the parent corporations. The smarter investment would be to weaken the Democratic party and tacitly support a Repub victory.

  4. BC on Parry:

“If the two major parties nominate McCain and Clinton – the overriding message will be that no one will pay a serious political price for handing George W. Bush a blank check for war in 2002.”

    What’s Parry saying here?

BC you imbecile. He’s saying that the nomination of those two WAR MONGERS will indicate that business as usual is OK, and that the (s)elected one will not resist either more war, or a 1000 year occupation of Iraq.
