Here Comes the Hillary Bandwagon

Filed under: Uncategorized — Gerry Fern @ 10:03 am

Edwards is out. That is a true loss to all of us. He was the only candidate with a true left leaning agenda after Dennis dropped out. Everyone said Dennis could not win and they proved it by voting for more viable candidates. On Monday I spoke to many people just before the Florida non-primary. Almost everyone said the same thing, “I like Edwards but he can’t win so I am voting for…” T alk about self fulfilling profecies! But now Edwards is gone and we must satisfy ourselves with our two media chosen candidates, so let’s get to them. Hillary is running an awful campaign and all her enemies are slowly coming out of the closet. The latest and most prominent are the Kennedys. There is no question she is a devise candidate but it’s not really her fault. The media is constantly bashing her and putting her under a microscope that no other candidate is subjected to.

If anything questionable is said and left to interpretation, there is no doubt that it will be portrayed by the media in the most negative light? Is that fair? Not at all. But at the same time you have to wonder, what is she and Bubba thinking? Every time they say something questionable, they get trashed in the media and then Obama picks it up and blows it into a full scale crisis. You would think two very experienced campaigners would have picked up on this the first time it happened and insure it did not happen again. Like I said, terrible campaign. Obama is running a brilliant campaign. His qualifications for the presidency are just above GWB’s when he first ran. Let’s be honest, the man is a great speaker and incredibly inspiring. You cannot take that away from him. But, beyond that, what else is there? Really, what else? If his campaign reflected his oratory, then he would have something.Beyond his oratory skills Obama simply rubs me the wrong way. His wife is as arrogant as they accuse Hillary of being, example: “this is Obama’s last campaign, if he does not win he will not run again.” Somebody remind Mrs. Obama of that quote in another eight years. The arrogance, “you give me the ball now or I won’t play.” Screw you, go home, who cares. Are we back in Kindergarten? After that it gets worse. Obama has consciously taken the misinterpreted quotes of the Clintons and used them to inject racism in the campaign. Yes I blame him. He knows the Clintons are not racists, he could have stood up and said the media were inflaming something that was not there, and in the process show greatness. Did he do that? No, he chose the low road, and rather than smiting the false accusations inflamed them.He has convinced me America is not ready for our first black president, and will never be ready as long as one candidate attempts to slip into the office on the basis of his race. That goes for women, and every other minority. We cannot allow people to win elections by claiming victimhood. And what is Obama going to do when he faces the Republican candidate? Is he going to try the same tactic? I got news for Obama, racism is not an issue with Republican voters. The platform of the party is based on racism and the disenfranchisement of all people, black, white or purple that are perceived below their status, due to their religious affiliation, net worth, or skin color. These people could care less about race issues, unless it’s a black man raping a white woman. So I made up my mind, I may have to eat all these words before the general election, and Hillary may be running a terrible campaign, but the substance is there. We all know it is.

  1. When people say that a candidate cannot win, they mean against the opposing party. This is why I support Hillary. She knows better than to try and play nice with the Rethugs.
