Rain, What do you mean “used to have clotheslines”? In the rural repug stronghold where I live they haven’t advanced to them thar modern contraptions like clotheslines yet, still hang’em on fences. LOL

as catfish head totems.
Myself,I use the romex wire from the back porch
to the wellhouse for a clothesline and my electrical bill still runs around $200 a month in off-peak months.
