Bart asked a while back if America was racist. I find from personal experience and surfing the net that most of America, all ethnic groups are racist to a varying degree. But the saddest thing that most Americans share is that Americans are much more sexist than racist, men and even women against their own sex.
IE: I listened to dozens of people talking today at the bank, grocery store, Post Office and DMV (my birthday is tomorrow and needed a new driver’s license, not a ticket. ;O) ) Everyone was talking about being glad that (pick your favorite Hillary bash) was out of the way and she should just go away and die someplace. BUT they would either vote for McCain or not vote at all before they would vote for that (pick your own nasty slur) Obama.
So much for unifying the party! 4 more years???
It was only a small peek into what is coming in the next few months when the GOP gets their dirty tricks and swiftboating crews going full blast!
If obama thinks for one minute that the GOP slime machine won’t drag his wife through the mud just because he said she is off limits he is in for a very rude awakening.
BTW Gas was $4.50 per gallon in Oregon today.
Happy Birthday Kerry. I hope you’re having fun.

Like all post primaries there is a time needed to heal and come together. Dems will unite around Obama and win in Nov. True Democrats know the importance of victory in Nov.

Thanks Bear, I’m trying to. (((O))) <- that’s a “bear” hug. LOL
N I can only hope you are right, but if you had heard them you might not be so sure.

You are most likely right N. The problem is that there is not enough “True Democrats” to win a general election by themselves.

DB-
I agree but the true Democrats are the ones that drag the rest with us to the polls. Clinton’s base for the most part will come along they just need a little time to grieve. I have been grieving since Edwards was forced from the race. Any other year Edwards would be the nominee and would crush McBush.
