This is the same Mitch McConnell who wants to increase the congressional budget by %10 to 4.4 Billion dollars so that He can retain GOP staffer levels at pre-2008 levels.
The same guy who wants GM and Chrysler to fail so that the UAW will be broken and won’t be able to compete with the import auto industry in his home state.
Looks like 2010 is going to be a very good year.

Rain, this is the same Mitch McConnell who looked like he sucked on a bushel of lemons last night during Obama’s speech. He can see the writing on the wall, and it isn’t a happy future for the GOP. I mean, Bobby Jindal bitching about the job Brownie’s FEMA did during Katrina? Compared to Obama, Jindal was like Arnold Stang following Muhammad Ali.

Hopefully the Obama administration will continue to reach across the aisle.
Pelosi and Reid will do well extend that olive branch but not for necessarily altruistic reasons.
