The rats are not only leaving the Monkey in the Executive branch. In the
House, Deborah Pryce (R-OH) announced yesterday that she would not seek
reelection and former speaker Dennis Hastert is expected to announced
that he won’t seek reelection either and another G.O.P. leader,
Representative Ray LaHood, also of Illinois, decided earlier this summer
that he would retire from Congress.
No one really believes that they either are going home and sitting on the
sidelines or are just tired of the shabby treatment they get from the
Dems that they used to delight in dishing out when they were in the
majority. They, being true whores, are cashing in and going to some high
paying job they’ve earned for their favors and submission to corporate
America.
Tony Snow is a prime example. He says he can’t make it on $168k and is
expected to leave the Bush Propaganda Team soon. Poor bastard! He and his
fascist party have no idea as to how most of America struggles every day.
Wonder on whose payroll he will wind up on? The Republican dropouts may
follow the example of my own state’s new ex senator, Rick Santorum who
pads his resume and paycheck some more with a job at a law firm. When he
didn’t do one job right, now Man-on-Dog has three.
Looks like the repugs cannot stand the truth getting out, the lousy (?)
pay and/or being in the minority. What a shock! I thought these
representatives who allegedly possess higher morals and character would
want to stay fight for their principles and fight their dreaded liberal
“enemy.” How many more will hang it up?

Steve, I’m surprised at you! It’s simple and well known fact that republicans are better than democrats in every conceivable way – what’s your problem?
We republicans are without fault and above reproach. The democrats only attack us for sport. Deep down they know we are always right. You may envy me with wild abandon, Steve, i’m used to it.
