It’s interesting that this popped up on your site shortly after you asked readers to comment on whether they remembered that you supported Hillary last year and why. This post is a perfect illustration of how otherwise smart and logical progressives seriously lost their minds in 2008 and called Hillary and her supporters every name in the book, from war-mongers to racists. If telling the truth and pointing out what many believe are serious mistakes on Obama’s part in handling the health care debate means that we are shills for the Republicans, then Bart, let’s you and I take a trip to RNC HQ and pick up our paychecks.
When it’s the last quarter and you’re down 28-0, you’re losing the game, despite what the writer of this piece seems to think. What is disheartening to me is that Obama and his people thought they knew better and would get this right, unlike those evil Clintons. That was the real message of the 2008 primaries, the snake oil that so many Obama supporters happily swallowed. But to make that assertion stick, Obama needed to show that he had learned something from the history of previous attempts at health care reform. What has become painfully evident is that he learned nothing, and has yet to understand the nature of the enemy we face.

NinjaLibrarian,
Unfortunately a very old beatitude still rings true today,Money Talks,Bullshit Walks.
Time and again the Dems make the same mistakes that the Repub’s make,They give preference to those who caused the problems rather than doing what is right.
You make a hell of a stand.
