Hi Rick,
Saw your comment on my response to Maria. All I have to say about FL is that I can’t wait to get back to Wisconsin. I’m sure there are non-red areas in this state, but for the most part it’s redneck central. I think a lot of people in this country are a bunch of racist pigs, especially the teabaggers, because it hasn’t been this crazy since a black man got in the white house. I’d like to corraborate and use one in one my articles one of these days. Feel free to post anything I write on LTSaloon…I’d aprreciate the extra hits. Anyway, keep it lit, RS

Thanks, Greg, and thanks for the posting permission. My SO’s parents have lived down in the Ft. Myer’s area for 20-some years, so I know ALL of FL isn’t a bunch of racist rednecks, but the state certainly has more than its share. Of course Chicago, like any big city, also has its share of racist idiots, but they tend to be quiet, and even slightly ashamed, about it.
BTW, I once worked in WI — I only noticed overt racism in some parts of Milwaukee and, rarely, out in the far north rural areas.
