This whole health care thing is getting ridiculous. It could have been so simple – single payer, medicare for all, but just like with impeachment it was “off the table” from the beginning. Now, apparently some Democrat Senator has joined the GOP filibuster to block the public option and spineless Harry Reid won’t publicly disclose who it is. (See: http://action.firedoglake.com/page/s/hccallthemout). I am getting so sick of these spineless Dems that I am ready to start voting third party. Thanks for your comments on my Examiner page, RS.

Greg, don’t give up the ghost yet. There’s still the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions committee bill, which has a public option, that has to be considered along with Baucus’ Finance Committee bill, and Sen. Tom Harkin, the HELP committee chair, says there will definitely be a public option in the final bill. Don’t forget it also has to go through the House, and Pelosi doesn’t have the votes to pass any bill without a PO. Hope may be dimming, but it’s still there.
BTW, it’s my pleasure to post comments to your Examiner articles — they’re full of good info and well-written.
