Is that Obama in the burning plane, about to crash and burn in your ‘toon? Just FYI, I’ve met Russ Feingold when I worked on Tammy Baldwins campaign in Madison, and I would believe him over any of the jackass corporate whore politicians who managed to destroy this bill. Are you thinking third party yet?

LOL, Greg, that could be Obama in that burning plane, but Rahm Emanuel is the pilot.
I’d believe Feingold and Howard Dean over the Dem Senate leadership, too. I voted for and gave money to Nader in 2000, but, keeping this brief, let’s just say my experience with third party’s is not good.
Jane Hamsher seems to have the right approach, just as she did in CT with Lieberman — run real progressives against these corporate Dems and take over the Dem Party from the inside. It’s a lot easier than trying to get a third party on the ballot in most states.
BTW, did you happen to see ‘The Ed Show’ yesterday on MSNBC? Jane did a magnificent take-down of that pompous phony liberal Lanny Davis. She showed the way every inside-the-beltway type, Dem or Repug, should be dealt with — expose their corporate ties and where they get their money. (Davis is part of a law firm that represents Big Pharma and he just loves the health care bill.) I swear, Davis didn’t know what hit him — he was reduced to accusing her of ‘demonizing’ him while desperately trying simultaneously to demonize her. Lanny doesn’t get this kind of ‘undignified’ treatment on Meet the Press — imagine, asking him how he personally profits from this health care bill and naming names — the nerve! It was priceless TV. Here’s the YouTube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAMsNg_x9Uk
It’s definitely worth a viewing, if you haven’t seen it.
